Distribution |
Niengé & Alowé Rivers which flow eventually into the Ogooué River. Replaced to the northwest by A.aurantiacum. |
Habitat |
Discovered in a small fast flowing river 3-5
metres wide near tributaries. Live in between tree roots & under
dead leaves. Bottom sandy, no aquatic vegetation. Fish were found near
tributariy streams but not in them. |

Lower part of body being bright orange/red. Area between eyes & tip of snout also bright orange/red. |
